The Psalms exhort us to "make a joyful noise", and I throw my whole heart into doing just that with the NLCMB. I began making music in 1982, playing trumpet in the school band, which I continued to do through graduation in 1988. When I was 14, I picked up the guitar and started applying what I was learning about music theory to writing music.

In 1988, I went on to major in Business Administration at a private university. Along with training horses, I paid my way through college by making music. I played with four different bands while in Texas, 3 as a bass guitarist/guitar/vocals, and one as a trumpet. In 1989 and 1990, one of the groups I was in toured the eastern United States and made several videos and tapes.

The proud father of three beautiful girls and husband of a beautiful woman, I'm happy to concentrate on playing my guitar with the NLCMB these days. I enjoy strapping on the bass and laying down some funky rhythms on the rare occasion, though, when the other band members let me.

I sing with the Northern Lights, and I'm one of the song writers for the group.
